Retention Settings

Configure records retention, legal holds, and admin exports. Message bodies are not shown in purge reports.

Retention rules must be reviewed and approved by the organization before activation. Purge is disabled unless the server setting RETENTION_PURGE_ENABLED=true is intentionally enabled.

Threads on legal hold are skipped by retention purge. Use legal hold only with organizational approval.
